Student Testimonial

“I am working through this course to see if it could benefit my college freshman son, and wish I could have found this course before I began working on my Master’s Degree. It is very thorough, but the information and instruction does not bog down the student. I am passing this on to my son and would recommend to anyone needing a refresher or a fresh start at mastering advanced academic writing.”

FAQs

  • Why should I take your classes?

Meet employer demands for better writers and proofreaders. Build your résumé with marketable writing skills and earn more money. Learn new skills for career pivots or to start a home-based editing or proofreading business. Improve your writing to achieve academic success. Upgrade your writing skills to produce engaging social media and marketing content.

  • Is there a time limit on enrollment?

Most classes for individual users come with lifetime access. If not, please note the class duration and complete the course before the expiration date (if any).

  • Why are there no refunds?

All enrollments are final. No refunds. Our courses have taken copious amounts of time and personal finances to build. We are confident that all of our courses deliver the exact instruction you need to improve your writing skills. Please take our low-cost introductory class, "Grammar Essentials Jump-start" to get a good feel for the value you receive at such affordable prices. You will not be disappointed!

  • When will I receive my certificate?

Certificates are immediately auto-generated when you complete 100% of the course, and can be downloaded from your student dashboard in PDF format. If you cannot retrieve your certificate, contact the Director.

  • What about monthly payments & bundles?

If offered, students can split the course price into two (2) or three (3) monthly payments. Monthly payments will incur a small processing fee, so the total paid will be slightly higher than the listed class price.

If a monthly subscription payment is missed for any reason (e.g., card expiration or lack of funds), the system will automatically try to recover payment three (3) times. If the outstanding payment is successfully made during these attempts, course access will be restored.

Although missed payments will immediately prevent access to course content, progress toward completion will be saved. When payment has been restored, students can simply continue the course from where they left off.

However, if all three attempts at processing the payment fail, the monthly subscription will be removed and access to the course revoked. After three failed payments, progress will not be saved, and the student must purchase the course or bundle again and start over.

This process also applies to bundles. Bundles give students access to a collection of classes for one monthly price, instead of paying for each class individually.

Remember, you receive a certificate for each individual class completed. You do not have to complete every class in the bundle to receive a certificate.

You can cancel at any time, but you are advised to completely finish a class and receive a certificate before cancellation.

  • Can I pay for someone else to take the class?

Yes, absolutely. You can gift the class by paying for the fee, but allowing someone else to complete the course. Click "This a gift" at checkout. The recipient will receive a course invitation email.
They'll need to access their email and create an account right here on our website to redeem the gift.
Upon redeeming the gift, they can access the class and can begin learning at their convenience. After enrolling in the class, they'll receive email confirmation that the gift has been claimed.
See details about this process at: Course Gifting

  • Why am I seeing a "welcome back, sign in before purchase” message?

At some point, you probably signed up for a free preview and the system recognizes your email address. You have two options to bypass this message and continue with your purchase: 1) Clear your browsing data. Use your current system recognized email address and try to reset your password. –OR– 2) First, clear your browsing data. Refresh the course landing page and retry your purchase. When you get to the payment screen, use a different email address and a different password. If you can use a different computer or a mobile device, this will also help to totally clear any previous visits. This way, you won't get that welcome message and you can pay as normal.
